CanSkate Stage One

Once your child completes Pre-CanSkate they will move into Stage One. In this stage they will be introduced to basic skating skills that will form the building blocks for further development.

Stage One Skills

Agility	Balance	Control
2 foot 1/2 turn on the spot	Fall down and get up	Make snow
2-foot jump on the spot	Push/glide sequence	Backward 2-foot skating/walking
Forward perimeter stroking	Forward 2 foot glide	Backward 2-foot glide.
