CanSkate Stage 6:
Once your child completes Stage 5, they will advance to Stage 6. In this stage, your child will focus on refining their skating technique and will be challenged with more difficult skills. This phase emphasizes the development of advanced maneuvers and the precision of their movements. It’s designed to push their abilities further, ensuring they gain confidence and mastery over more complex skating elements. This stage is crucial for solidifying their expertise and preparing them for higher levels of competition or recreational enjoyment. 😊⛸️✨
Once in this stage or near completion, your child could begin to specify the direction of their skating skills. To focus on either hockey/ringette skills in PowerSkate, or figure skating skills in STAR 1.
For more information on these programs visit PowerSkate (if interested in hockey/ringette) and/or STAR 1 (if interested in figure skating)
